Friends of the Rec Activities:

Dance for Fitness for over 55s
Wednesdays 2.30-3.30pm from 11 April to 20 June 2018 with Cathy Middleton.

Ladies Social Tennis
Fridays 9.30 to 10.30am starting 27th April 2018 on the tennis hard court at the Rec. Equipment provided.

Thursdays 10am–11am at the Rec Centre. Whole body exercise with professional instructor Ros Mulvaney.

Rec Sunshine Sports & Activities Club
1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month 2pm–4pm at the Rec – for those not normally able to join sports clubs.

Tai Chi
For beginners and those more experienced, with qualified local instructor Joan Hodgson in the Rec Centre.

Walking Football
Fridays 6-7pm with coach Phil Mullen on the Recreation Ground Multi Use Games Area (MUGA).

Beginners Yoga
Saturdays (term time only) choice of sessions at either 9am-10am, or 10am-11am at the Rec Centre led by Pauline Reay.

The Impingtones meet on Wednesday evenings during term time 6:30-7:30pm at the Impington Village College.

Wednesdays 6.30 to 7.30pm at the Rec Centre with Katie Granger.

Rec Sports Clubs:

Histon Bowls Club welcomes new members and plays social and competitive bowls in various leagues and competitions.

The Histon and Impington Bicycle Club meets regularly, including Sunday morning club runs at 08:30 from Histon Green.

Histon Cricket Club has 2 excellent pitches on the Recreation ground and fosters enjoyment of the spirit of cricket.

Histon & Impington Croquet Club meets most summer weekdays between April and September from 2pm and members can play at weekends and evenings.

Histon Netball Club welcomes ladies (16+) of all netball abilities to play on Tuesdays from 6:30pm to 8pm.

Histon & Impington Runners meet Wednesdays 6.45pm at the Rec with a winter and summer schedule for all runners of any ability, male or female.
Also, Histon Hobblers is a friendly, informal women’s running club that is designed for people with busy schedules.

Table Tennis
Histon & Impington Table Tennis (HITT) meets on Sundays 5.30 to 7pm between October and May in the Rec Centre. All are welcome including children aged over 10.
