Walking Football
Fridays 6-7pm on the Rec Multi Use Games Area (MUGA).
Walking football is a slower paced version of the beautiful game introduced to encourage older adults to continue playing football. If you can walk, you can play! Get back into the beautiful game with coach Phil Mullen. Cost £5 per week.

Histon Hornets
Histon Hornets FC is a Football Association community development Charter Standard Club that provides a safe and fun football club for the youth of our community, with links into adult football through its own adult teams. With 26 teams from Under 5s to adults, Histon Hornets is one of the largest clubs in the region. Teams include Under 8’s through to Under 16’s (both boys and girls) with matches played on Saturdays (Mini Soccer, girls) and Sundays (colts league 11-a-side football). The Hornets has one Adult Mens team. New players are always welcome to come training prior to signing on. For information please contact Hornets Secretary Jerry Walton on 01223 575151. As a club the Hornets is always on the lookout for willing volunteers, whether it be helping in the tea hut, refereeing or coaching the children – all help is gratefully received.

Cambridge & Impington Veterans Football Club
Cambridge and Impington Veterans Football Club is thriving and plays all its home matches at the Recreation Ground. The Veterans welcome players between 35 and 45 who have played in the past to a reasonable local standard (Thurlow Nunn League or Kershaw Premier preferably). All matches played are friendly matches, occasionally followed by suitable replenishment and the emphasis is on enjoyment.
